  • 1 lb strawberries
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 6 oz icing sugar you can add more or less to your taste
  • 10 fl oz double cream US heavy whipping cream



  • Purée the strawberries in a blender or food processor, then pour them into a bowl and season with the lemon juice and sugar to taste.
  • Stir in the cream.
  • Freeze — churn until the ice cream is ready to serve.
