Ingredients:
150 g (6 oz) rolled oats
75 g (3 oz) margarine
100 g (4 oz) light brown soft sugar
50 g (3 oz) golden syrup

Method
1. Mix oats and sugar together in a bowl.
2. Melt margarine and syrup together in a saucepan and add the dry ingredients.
3. Stir together and press into a greased 20 cm/ 8 in. shallow, square tin.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Cool a little and cut into fingers.
