I have known Tamzin Cochrane for a number of years. We first met when her son attended the pre-school I worked in, in England.
Due to problems with the owner closing the business suddenly, Tamzin saw an opportunity to take on and redevelop the pre-school. Tamzin and her husband spent time and money setting up a new pre-school from scratch , within a very short space of time, they renamed the pre-school ‘Little Pickles’. Tamzin also saw a gap in the childcare market, in the local area, opening up an afterschool and holiday club. (DASH). Donington after school and holiday club. As this work was new to Tamzin, she threw herself into her training , completing her CACHE NVQ level 3 in Early years and Childcare. I was fortunate enough to work for Tamzin, in the pre-school and the after school club. I found Tamzin very caring to all the children and her staff. Nothing was too much for her.
When Tamzin moved to America I was offered the opportunity to own the business. We are still called ‘Little Pickles’, a name close to Tamzins heart. Since moving to America I have stayed in touch with Tamzin and follow all her new ventures. Whatever Tamzin turns her hand to, she gives 100%. I find her very dedicated to the challenge and excels at everything.

Tamzin is amazing. I had the pleasure of working with her on the launch of a performance management system and the associated training pieces. Tamzin brought such a creative flair to otherwise standard (and a bit boring) material. She made it a point to understand the complexity of the audience, so she implemented audio, video and static content across different platforms. Post this experience, I’ve had the opportunity to experience her creativity with her cooking and teaching. Not only does she make great tasting food, she effectively teaches you how to do it.
